Local Gisborne resident and owner, Fred Hutchinson, has operated STIHL SHOP Clares since July 2002. Prior to buying the business, Fred worked in forest management on the East Coast for eight years, and has also worked in an earthmoving partnership for eight years in the same region. He has also travelled widely throughout the world, including working for 18 months in West Africa selling and servicing chainsaws.
